We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2025, at the age of 77, Anastasia Margaris in Toronto, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Anastasia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Anastasia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her husband Anastasios; her grandchildren, Anastasia, Miltiadis, Alexander and Maximus; and her son Dionysios (family: Anastasios, Hope, Gabriel).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ralph Day Chapel (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H1B6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Irene Chrysovalantou Greek Orthodox Church (66 Gough Ave, Toronto, ON M4K3N8). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Elgin Mills Cemetery (1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S1M9).
