It is with sadness that the passing of Anastasis Vlachos (Toronto, Ontario) is shared. Anastasis, born on February 5, 1933, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Anastasis will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Anastasis by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Anastasis is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Anastasis’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgia Vlachos; his children, Alexandra (Bill), Helen and Bill (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Peter, Steve, Kristina, Samantha and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, ON L4L0C1). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1 Brookhaven Dr, North York, ON M6M4N6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anastasis's memory to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
