Anibal Aires Obituary

We announce the death of Anibal Aires (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 64. Anibal will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Anibal will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Anibal’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his father Francisco Aires. He is survived by: his mother Rosa Aires; his children, Angelo Aires and Stephanie Dougherty (Andrew Dougherty); his granddaughter Marlowe Dougherty; and his sisters, Clara Aires and Susana Silva (Paulo Silva). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
