It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Zanellato (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on September 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Leonino; her daughters, Mary (Bill Le Clair) and Claudia (Renato Simonetti); her grandchildren, Michael (Samantha), Laura, Daniel, Andrew (Aaron) and Andrea (Paola); her great grandchild Mattia; her sister-in-law Mirella; her niece Paola; her cousin Giovannina; and her close friend Renata Conflitti.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Anita to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society Anita's enduring strength, hard work and unwavering love for her family will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
