Anton Nemanic Obituary
We announce the death of Anton Nemanic (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on October 29, 2026, at the age of 92. Anton will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Anton will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Anton will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Anton’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Ana; his children, John (Sandra) and Franc (Marla); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Ava, Grace and Leela. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Ridley Funeral Home (3080 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8V1K3). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church (739 Brown's Line, Etobicoke, ON M8W3V7).
