It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anton Novacic (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Anton has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Matija and Nikola; his wife Marija; his sibling Kata; his sibling's children, Mile and Mandica; and his grandsons, Jason and Ivan.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Visite Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5A3Y3). A Mass was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Croatia Church (7 Croatia St, Toronto, ON M6H1K8). A burial was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
