He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Garcia Brasil; his children, Maria Janeiro (Jaime), Margarida Melo (Bert) and Humberta Brasil (Peter Lombardi); his daughter-in-law Antonella Brasil; his grandchildren, Tania Vincent (Chris), James Janeiro (Gillian Gallimore), Andrew Melo, Julia Melo and Victoria Melo; his great grandchildren, Severn Vincent and Sloane Vincent; his siblings, Armando, Elmiro, Iria and Izaltina; his children, Elmiro, Antonio and Fernanda; his brothers, Jose and Joao; and his parents, Manuel Jose and Maria Da Conceicao.
