Apollonia Piarulli Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 86, Apollonia Piarulli (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Apollonia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Apollonia. Though Apollonia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Pasquale; her son Joe; and her siblings, Antonio (Carmela), Giovanni (Filomena), Grazia (Raffaele), Domenica (Luigi) and Giuseppina (Celestino). She is also survived by mother to her own son, but also a mother figure to all her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Keele Chapel) (3725 Keele St, North York, ON M3J1N4). A Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Wilfrid's Roman Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave W, Toronto, ON M3J2G8). A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St, Concord, ON L4K1A7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humber River Hospital or to a charity of your choice in her honor.
