She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ernesto; her children, Delia (Michael), Ida (Sergio), Claudia (Vito), Vince (Chelle) and Patricia (Stephen); and her grandchildren, Andrew (Jaqueline), Lisa (Daryl), Louie, Philip, Madison, Ryan, Marco, Adriano and Enzo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sinai Health Foundation - Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care (Dr. Paolo Mazzotta and Alena) in appreciation of the compassion and support they provided to Aquila, and the meaningful difference they continue to make in the lives of those they care for.
