It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur Rene Laprade (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lucie. He is survived by: his sons, Alain (Deirdre), André and René (Sandra); and his grandchildren, Marc (Laurissa), Nicholas, Mathieu, Patrick, Genevieve, Ryan, Arrière-Grandpapa, Jakub and Emina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home (1939 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Louis de France Church (1415 Don Mills Rd., North York, ON M3B2X5).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
