She was predeceased by: her parents, Jekabs Vitins and Elza Vitins; and her sister Esmarelda Erna Gaikis. She is survived by: her nephews, Haralds (Jennifer), Imants and Gunars (Gail); her great-nieces, Lona, Lija (Eddie), Inta (Thanasi) and Caroline; her great-nephew Bentley (Sarah); and also, Lincoln, Welland and Remington.
