In loving memory of Athanase Tommy Petropoulos (Toronto, Ontario), who departed this world on February 28, 2026 at the age of 86. Athanase leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andriana Petropoulos and Dimitrios Petropoulos; and his siblings, Theone (Gus), Panayiota (Theochari), Caliroy (Dean), Sotirios (Maria) and Georgios (Fani).
He is survived by: his daughter Andriana; his grandchildren, Thanos (Rachel), Niko (Kasandra), Andreas (Beth) and Aristeya; and his great grandchild Athena. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral (136 Sorauren Ave, Toronto, ON M6R2E3). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery - Toronto (375 Mt Pleasant Rd, Toronto, ON M4T2V8).
