We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, Athina Canellos (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Athina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Athina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (3840 Finch Ave E, Toronto, ON M1T3T4). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elgin Mills Cemetery (1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S1M9).
