She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James of Thunder Bay and Laura Mable Prettie of Thunder Bay; her sister Susan Elizabeth Crerar (Bill) of Toronto; and her husband Vere Karsdale Mason of Toronto. She is survived by: her significant other Cliff Tooth; her nieces and nephews, Lauren Linton, Kelly Kirkland (Jamie), Steve Crerar and Andrew Crerar; and her child Bill Neish.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Susan E. Crerar Ovarian Cancer Early Detection Fund" at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, 700 University Ave., 10th Floor, Toronto ON M5G 1Z5.
