She is survived by: her husband Dr. Saeed Abbaszadeh; her sons, Babak, Keyvan and Shervin Abbaszadeh; her grandchildren, Keemia, Leila, Nima, Nina, Ariana and Keon; and her daughters-in-law, Emily, Marjan and Saghi.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario in Honour of Azam Taheri Abbaszadeh.
