In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harold; her children, Kathryn (Sara) and Andrew (Tia); and her granddaughter Lucy.
Barbara's final years were a struggle with Alzheimer's. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Malton Village for the authentic care and respect shown to Barbara during the last year of her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, an organization that was instrumental in helping the family navigate the challenges of the last four years.
