With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Jane Pimento (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara Jane left this world on September 9, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Taryn (Margo) and Taylor (Ian); her grandchildren, Ivy and Aidan; and her close friends, Barb, Pam, Lynn, Patti, Joanne and Ian.

Memorials or donations can be made to SPRINT Senior Care, Toronto Western Hospital Memory Clinic, the Aphasia Institute, the Toronto Grace Palliative Care Unit, or The Alzheimer's Society of Toronto, all of which supported Barb and Michael as her dedicated caregiver in recent years. Donations can also be made to the Early Childhood Education Academic Award scholarship fund at George Brown College.
