With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara McDonald (Toronto, Ontario). Barbara, born on April 20, 1949, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Barbara for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Barbara’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard McDonald; her daughters, Kim Dobson (Stu) and Cindy Sherrill (Jason); her grandsons, Hunter (Meredith), Andrew (Jamie) and Kasib (Summer); and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Miller and Cooper.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home (2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in memory of Barb to the Scarborough Health Network Foundation.
