With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice Spence (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Henry Rabjohns and Nellie Arnold; her sibling Bert Rabjohns; her husband Robert (Bob); her siblings-in-law, Elvia (Currie), Mary (Drummond), Pat (Evoy), David, Wally, Jack Spence and Anne (Rabjohns); her children, Roberta Hirschberg (Robert) and Jonathan (Aoi Yoshida); and her grandchildren, Julia, Joshua, Jin, Anika, Carter and Toren.
Donations have been asked to be made to the Black Lives Matter movement (https://blacklivesmatter.com) and Native Women's Association of Canada.
