He was predeceased by: his children, Kimel (Brandy), Amber, Cheyenne, Terese and Tazanna; his father Derrick Pitawanakwat; his brother Wendell; his grandparents, Josephine and John Roy-Atchitawens; and also, Sequoia and Hailey.
He is survived by: his mother Teresa Shawanda; his grandchildren, Kadan, Miinigan, Riverleigh Roy, Rivaris Harvey and Kobe; his siblings, Gail and Abigail; and his cousins, Marilyn, Elaine, Donna, Tanya and Josephine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A wake was held on Monday, August 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the South Bay Centre. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Church (2350 McCowan Rd, Scarborough, ON M1S4B4).
