He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty and Frank; and his brother Fred. He is survived by: his wife Merry; his son Robert (Richa); his nieces and nephews, Nadine and Paityn; his in-laws, Richard, Doreen, Rod and June; and his nephew Jerrod.
