He was predeceased by: his wife Violet. He is survived by: his son Sean (Heather); his sister Shirley; his children, Patricia (Kevin) and Peter (Ana); his grandchildren, Christina (Tom), Sarah (Nazim), Shane (Meghan), Shelby (Coulter), Amanda (Alex), Kaitlin (Derek), Daryl and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Alaric, Audra, Mickey, Blue, Joseph and Gabriel.
Carl lived through extraordinary times, from the Great Depression to a world war, and most recently, a global pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
