Carmela Lamanna Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carmela Lamanna (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rocco Lamanna; her children, Angelo, Tony, Maria (Chris), Lorenzo (Maria), Mario, Nino and Lucy; and her grandchildren, Christina (Matt), Deanna (Adrian), Noah (Courtney), Joshua (Sam) and Benjamin.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1B6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church (291 Cosburn Ave., East York, ON M4J2M4). An entombment was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thalassemia Foundation of Canada (https://www.thalassemia.ca) or SickKids Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
