It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cassandra Lynn (Miller) Burgon (Toronto, Ontario), born in Terrace Bay, Ontario who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends.
Cassandra was an exceptionally hardworking and determined woman who poured her heart into everything she did. We are all so proud of her
accomplishments. She graduated from Ryerson University and fulfilled her lifelong dream of working in Theatre Arts as a Stage Technician.
Cassandra took immense pride in her work, helping set up and run countless productions in theatres across Toronto, the city that she loved. Being part of the magic behind the scenes—seeing a show come to life and knowing she played a role in it was something she truly loved. The theatre world was more than a job to her; it was a passion, a community, and a place where her creativity and dedication shone brightly.
Cassandra had a deep love for animals and an effortless way of caring for them that reflected her generous and gentle spirit. She found her happiness outdoors along the shores of Lake Superior, kayaking across its peaceful waters, and exploring wilderness trails. Whether she was hiking
through the forest or quadding down backcountry paths, she embraced adventure with an open heart and a fearless spirit. Nature was her sanctuary, and she carried its beauty with her wherever she went.
Above all, Cassandra’s greatest joy in life was her son. He will grow up surrounded by stories of her love, her strength, and the countless lives she
touched in her far-too-short time here.

Though Cassandra has departed this earthly realm, her legacy of love, adventure, and kindness endures—a light that will continue to shine in the
