He was predeceased by: his parents, George Simpson and Emma Simpson; and his brothers, Donald Simpson (Eleanor) and Stirling Simpson (Mabel). He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Kim Selleck Terry Simpson (Doug) and Chris Simpson (Paula McLelland); his grandchildren, Kate Selleck (Dirk Avé), Charlie Selleck, Jake and William Simpson; and his great grandchildren, Keating and Linden Avé.
