He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Dixon and Kathleen Dixon of Manchester; and his siblings, Edna, Kenneth, Roy, Inez, Wendell and Calvin.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis; his children, Orleen and Mervin; his daughter-in-law Donna Dixon (Turner); his grandchildren, Omri and Jana; and his siblings, Leeford (Lee), Daniel, Persis, Annie and Elsie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Toronto New Covenant Cathedral (255 Blantyre Ave, Scarborough, ON M1N2S2). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1M5).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations towards the Alzheimer's Society of Toronto and/or the Toronto New Covenant Cathedral church (in Charles' honor).
