He was predeceased by: his parent Hendryk; and his brother Oliver Schroer. He is survived by: his parent Irene; his children, Chris (Steve Ireson) of Toronto, Philip of Toronto and Julian (Julia Liebish-Peschl) of Berlin; his siblings, Martina Schroer of Huntsville and Ansgar of Owen Sound; his wife Carole Robinson; and also, Victoria Wadel (Adam) and Emerson.
