Clarice leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Clarice’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Clarice will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Juliet Edwards; and her parents, Philemon Ward and Adina Bryan. She is survived by: her children, Clayton Whyte, Donovan "Tony" Vernon, Ian Vernon, Sharon McKenzie and Alana Bridgewater. She is also survived by forty grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Philadelphia Seventh-Day Adventist Church (65 Grand Marshall Dr, Scarborough, ON M1B5N6). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens (541 Taunton Rd W, Ajax, ON L1T4T2).
