It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Edward Downes (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 30, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Downes and Dorothy Downes; and his brothers, George and Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sister Joan; his children, Todd (Linda), Michael (Jeannette), Kathleen, Patrick (Michelle), Sherry and Tara; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Rhoenin, Emmet, Violet, Aurora and Sofia. He is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be arranged at the Georgetown Legion this summer, pandemic-permitting.
