CSB Joseph Thomas Walsh Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of CSB Joseph Thomas Walsh (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though CSB may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those CSB touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel of Presentation Manor Residence (61 Fairfax Crescent, Scarborough, ON M1L1Z7). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome in Fr. Walsh's memory to the Basilian Fathers Retirement Fund, 146 Davenport Road, Toronto, ON M5R 1J2.
