As Cynthia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cynthia. Though Cynthia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Almeida and Augustilia Almeida; and her siblings, Cleo (Cynthia Almeida), Sybil Almeida, Felix Almeida and Christine Almeida (Alan Hahn).
She is survived by: her child Leela (David); and her grandchildren, Anne-Marie and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home (1939 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Bonaventure Church (1300 Leslie St, Toronto, ON M3C2K9).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of York Region would be appreciated by the family.
