With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Mettel (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 27. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Teresa and Christian; his siblings, Nicole (Andrew), Kaitlin (Dillon) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Bruno, Kathe Mettel, Doreen and Denis Herlihy; his nephew Tante Michele Schappler (Martin); his aunt Christine Herlihy; his cousin Darin Tomlin (Jess); his siblings, Dexter (Maria), Theo and Noah Tomlin; and his cousin Nicholas Mettel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to an Animal Rescue Shelter of your choice.
