He was predeceased by: his mother Luciene. He is survived by: his father Arnold Pharand.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "toronto" Chapel (2080 Dufferin St #416, York, ON M6E3R7). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church (706 Old Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M6N3B8).

In memory of Daniel donations can be made online to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family has chosen to send donations to CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER.
