He is survived by: his wife Oksana; his sons, Levko and Teodor (Yuliia); his parents, Oleh and Bozhena; his siblings, Olesia (Alfred), Olena (Roman), Ihor and Beverly; and his brother-in-law Orest (Tania).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel (2058 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4J9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrius Church (135 La Rose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M9P1A6). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Elias the Prophet Church Cemetery (10193 Heritage Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0A1).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to Open Your Heart, a charity that raises money for families whose fathers have passed away because of Russia's war against Ukraine in Danylo's honor.
