He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ewens and Ida Ewens; and his sister Daphne. He is survived by: his former wife Alicia; his wife Clair (Yvonne Jerred); his children, Peter and Carol; his daughter-in-law Diane; his granddaughter Jacqueline; his brother Basil; his sister-in-law Carmen; and also, Peter Andrew and Carol Elizabeth.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (520 Sherbourne St, Toronto, ON M4X1K8). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel (467 Sherbourne St, Toronto, ON M4X1K5).
In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting donations to St Michael's Hospital Foundation in memory of David.
