He was predeceased by: his parents, Elderick Kempt and Elizabeth Kempt of Florence; and his brother William. He is survived by: his children, Matthew and Emily; the mother of his children Michelle; and his siblings, Malcolm (Roberta), Chuck (BettyLou), Anne Reid (George) and Karen Power (Paul). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
