He was predeceased by: his wife Bernadette; and his parents, Bertram Penney and Winnifred Penney. He is survived by: his son Robert (Christine); his siblings, Kathryn Babstock (William) and Glenys Drodge (Gordon); his siblings' children, Stephen (Janet), David (Jennifer), Glenn (Jane) and Susan (Aleks); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob, Bradley, Ashley, William Babstock and Jonathan Drodge; his siblings-in-law, Ken Organ (Myrtle) and Pat Organ (Louise); his niece Melissa; and his cousin Rosemary Thornhill (Paul). He is also survived by his family, friends.
