He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Casandra K. Keates and Edward J. Keates. He is survived by: his spouse Marlyn; his children, Jason David and Sheri Lynn (late Edward Keates); and his sister Barbara Purdie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in memory of David to North York General Hospital or North York Seniors Centre.
