It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawit Abraha Tella (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Hiriti; his children, Hiwot, Bissirat, Henock, Samson and Yohannes; and his grandchildren, Winta, Awet, Faven, Blake, Zane, Ghideon and Sinit.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Medhaine Alem Eritrean Orthodox Church (1 Ramsden Rd, York, ON M6E2N1). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St, Concord, ON L4K1A7).
