She was predeceased by: her parent Henry Hardy. She is survived by: her parent Christina Hardy; and her siblings, David Hardy (Denise), Katherine Hardy and Lori Hardy (Alex).

Debbie supported her nephew Reid in his 200km bike ride, the Ride to Conquer Cancer in her honour, with all donations going to Breast Cancer Research at Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital.
