He is survived by: his parents, Maria Marinakos and George Marinakos; his sister Gina Marinakos (Theodoridis); his brother-in-law Dan Theodoridis; and his sibling's children, Sophia Theodoridis and Ted Theodoridis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, ON M4H1H8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:30 PM at the Elgin Mills Cemetery (1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S1M9).
