She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolaos Diakopoulos and Georgina Diakopoulos; and her sibling Stavroula (Spiros). She is survived by: her spouse Spiros; her children, Mary (Nicholas) and Leonidas (Nicole); her grandchildren, Angelo, Natassia, Penelope, Tatiana, Spiros and Elektra; and her siblings, Peter (Martha), Terpsi (George) and John (Tassia) of Greece.
She took great solace through the intersessions of Saint Nektarios in whom she devoted countless acts of charity in his name, specifically through the Monastery and Orphanage of Saint Nektarios in Chania, Crete.
