It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Domenica Ilardo (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Domenica Ilardo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo and Gioacchina; her husband Giovanni Ilardo; and her siblings, Peter (Donna) and Antoinette.
She is survived by: her children, Josie (late Clem), Jackie (Carlo) and Rose (Paul); her grandchildren, Jessica (Greg), Mario (Maria), Dominique, Giovanni (Ana), Julian, Paul and Nick; her great grandchildren, Romeo and Diletta; and her sister Grace (Nino).
In honour of the care Domenica received, and in lieu of flowers, the family expressly wish that no flowers be purchased or trees planted, and instead, donations are made in memory of Domenica to the K1E Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. When making a donation, please note it is in memory of Domenica Ilardo as well please select designation other, and note donation is to be made to K1E Palliative Care Unit.
