He was predeceased by: his spouse Ivy Scott. He is survived by: his children, Margaret (Bill Strath) and Ian (Bev); his stepchildren, Anne MacDonald and Mary Louise MacDonald; his parents, Nellie Stewart and Alec Stewart; and his siblings, Myrtle (Ross Nimmo) and Roy (Marjorie).
