“I am saddened to hear of the passing of Duino, who I never met, but to whom I owe a debt of gratitude. In June 2025, my wife and I visited my Uncle's family in Pentone and stayed at Duino's house. While there, we met several of the Merantes and developed a fondness for the family. I just called my Uncle (Jerry Pugliese), who lives in Florida and he spoke very well of Duino. I live in Pittsburgh. If you ever wish to visit, please let me know. Truly. David Brunco, [email protected]”
