We announce the death of Earl Thomas of Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on October 29, 2026, at the age of 89. Earl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his spouse Seraphine Thomas; his parents, Reginald and Lucille; his siblings, Mervin, Terrance, Leroy, Monica and Bernice; and his stepson Clyde.
He is survived by: his daughter Nerill (Linden); his stepchildren, Val, Enrique (Isabel) and Mikey; his caregiver Deniese; his grandchildren, Jaide (Nathaniel), Jorden (Rechelle), Kelly, Nigel (Samantha), Melissa (Michael) and Isaiah; his great grandchild Israel; and his sisters, Lystra (late Isaac) and Marva.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pickering Pentacostal Church (1920 Bayly St, Pickering, ON L1W3R6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation, in support of the Cardiology Department, would be deeply appreciated by the family.
