Ingrid Bryan wrote a sympathy message

“Edith was a colleague of mine in the Economics Department at Ryerson University. She was a dedicated teacher, who spent an endless amount of time with her students. She was very collegial, and one of the nicest people I have ever met. When I became a Canadian citizen, she came to the ceremony - even my own family was too busy to come. I was delighted and she made the ceremony a very special occasion for me.”

Leslie Haller wrote a sympathy message

“Edith was such a warm and loving person; she approached life with an enthusiasm that was catching. She was my Sunday school teacher and my CGIT leader and a very good friend to my family and me. I loved that, even as a child, I always felt that she really wanted to hear what I had to say. So many of my pleasant memories of Patterson church include Edith. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to be touched by her kindness and thoughtfulness. Leslie (Graham) Haller”

“My deepest condolences to the entire family. Aunt Edith was an integral part of the many dinners I attended at Doug and Joyce's place pre-COVID times and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. May she rest in the Almighty Arms of her Saviour and may He bring peace and comfort to the family. Love always, Dianne Cabral”
