It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Irene Klanert of Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ewald; her siblings, Siegfried Neuland and Gerda Ranzan; her daughter Brigitte Schuchardt McInnis; and her parents, Karl (Isabella) and Edith (Gerda).
She is survived by: her children, Eberhard Klanert (Barbara), Heidi Buffett, Hans Klanert (Marlene), Gisela Tomlinson (John) and Susanne Marchment (Paul); her grandchildren, Jason Klanert, Rhonda Weagle and Rebecca Maw; and her children, Michael Turner (Kelly), Jason Turner (Julie), Diana Smith (Mike), Daniel Klanert (Heather), Tatiana Paige (Alan), Christina Power (Mike), Alex Schuchardt (Sandra), Sarah McGill, Mark Tomlinson (Nancy), Laura Cole (Jason), Richard Marchment (Kathryn) and Andrew Marchment (Catrina). She is also survived by her 32 great-grandchildren.
