Edward Jasnoch Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Jasnoch (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda (Morrey Weitz); his parents, Bronia Jasnoch and Major Joseph Jasnoch; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Pesner and Hersch Obrand.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Obrand; his children, Judy (David Engel), Heather Kape and Robert Kape (Isabelle Fhima); his sister-in-law Ellen Pesner; his great-uncle Leon Blum; and also Ignacz Blum. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 7:30 PM. A shiva was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and at 9:00 PM.
