He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda (Morrey Weitz); his parents, Bronia Jasnoch and Major Joseph Jasnoch; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Pesner and Hersch Obrand.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Obrand; his children, Judy (David Engel), Heather Kape and Robert Kape (Isabelle Fhima); his sister-in-law Ellen Pesner; his great-uncle Leon Blum; and also Ignacz Blum. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Toronto (619 Avenue Road). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
